We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and service-oriented Assistant to the Principal to provide administrative support and help ensure the smooth daily operation at our Tucson campus for the 20026/2027 academic year. This position serves as a key point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members while supporting the principal with scheduling, communication, office management, and special projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, maintains confidentiality, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct administrative support to the principal, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and other documents.
Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors.
Maintain confidential student and personnel records in accordance with school policies.
Coordinate school events, meetings, professional development sessions, and special projects.
Manage office communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail distribution.
Support purchasing, inventory, and budget tracking for the principal's office.
Coordinate substitute coverage, facility requests, and other operational needs as assigned.
Maintain organized filing systems and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Collaborate with office staff and school leadership to promote efficient school operations.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the principal.

Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:

Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of administrative or executive assistant experience, preferably in a school or educational setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and standard office technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times.
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a K–12 school environment.
Minimum of three years of administrative or executive assistant experience, preferably in a school or educational setting.
Familiarity with student information systems and school management software.
Experience coordinating events, calendars, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
